How are the canapes priced?
The set menus (Classic and Connoisseur) are priced per box (50 canapés) although if the client would like to order 60 canapes we welcome this as well. Celebration and The Chef’s Specials Ranges are priced per 10 canapes to offer you a freedom of choice and quantity to suit budgets and quantity requirements.

When do I need to place me order?
Please allow 48 hours notice for orders up to 1000 canapes. All deadlines for orders are at midday. I.e. for a delivery on Friday please place your order by Wednesday 12pm. If your order is more than 1000 canapés we would appreciate it if you could please give us 5 working days notice.

How many canapes are there in a box?
Each box of our set menus (classic and connoisseur) contains 50 canapés. This allows the client to choose 5 varieties in a box (10 of each canapé option).

Do I need to pay a delivery charge?
Delivery charges may be applicable to orders outside our Central London zone and for orders under £100.

Do you deliver over the weekend?
We deliver 7 days a week between 8am – 4pm. If delivery is required outside our set delivery times extra delivery charges may be applicable.

Do you delivery outside of London?
We deliver all over the UK but please note that a delivery charge may be applicable outside of our Central London Zone as well as for orders under £100.

How is the food delivered?
We deliver your food to you in our refrigerated vehicles to ensure the canapés are delivered to the highest quality and standard. Please note that some of our vehicles are branded so if you would prefer us delivering to you in an unbranded vehicle (subject to availability) please let us know when placing your order.

How can I pay for my order?
We accept cash or cheque upon delivery. Alternatively you can pay via BACS. Unfortunately we no longer accept card payments, we do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Can I open an account with Canapeum?
We can unfortunately not offer credit facilities for private clients. But if you work for a corporate company or a charity we are happy to offer you credit facilities (subject to a credit check). But please note that your first order always needs to be paid by cash, cheque or card. Please contact our sales team for more information and credit application forms.

What are your Office Hours?
Our office is open Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm. If you need to reach us over the weekend you can always email orders@canapeum.com or call 020 8992 5500 and speak to a member of the Operations Team who would be able to assist you.

Do I need to do anything with the canapes?
All canapes are delivered cold and already assembled so if you have only ordered cold canapes you will only have to remove them from the box and place them on your own serving trays. If you have ordered any canapes that is delivered in kit form you will have to assemble these yourself. We will provide you with instructions for this.
If you have ordered hot canapes you will need to re-heat these in the oven. We recommend 175 degrees and let the canapes re-heat for approximately 5 minutes (depending on power of oven).

Can I serve the canapes in the trays they are delivered in?
The canapes are packed and transported in specially designed boxes to avoid them moving around (this does not apply to the hot canapes which come packed in foils ready for reheating), these boxes are not suitable for service. You can purchase perspex platters from us at an additional cost of £4.50 + VAT per tray (please ask our sales team for more information) or you can use your own.

Are the prices inclusive of VAT?
The food we sell in not applicable to VAT when being delivered. If you are being charged a delivery charge this will be subject to VAT.

How can I place an order?
We accept orders either via telephone or email. If you would like to place your order via email please send it to orders@canapeum.com . Please see question below regarding what information you need to provide us with.

What information do I need to hand when placing my order?
For us to be able to process your order succesfully you need to provide us with the following information;
Company name (if applicable) –

Delivery Address –
Invoice Address (if different to delivery address) -

Email address (enables us to send confirmation of order) -

Card details (if you would like to pay for your order by card) -

What is the shelf life on the products?
All our canapes have a use by date of production + 2 days. Although some canapes will not be at its best after two days i.e. canapes on crostini base as the base can go soggy etc. Please speak to one of our sales assistants to speak about specific needs you may have and what canapes would suit best.

Can you provide dietary requirement canapes?
Through our brand ”Taste Inspira” we can provide canapes to suit most dietary requirements such as vegan, gluten free, dairy free, low calorie, etc. Please ask our sales team for more information.

Can you guarantee nut free canapes?
At Canapeum we can not guarantee nut free canapes. Although the canape may not have any nuts in the ingredients; we do use nuts in our kitchen and therefore can not guarantee nut free food.

How many canapes shall I order per person?
It is very hard to recommend a standard amount of canapes as it all depends on your guests, other food served etc. But as I guideline you could use our canape calculator to your right on this page.
